A logbook service is when your vehicle is serviced in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer specifications. The manufacturer requires certain components and fluids are checked and/or replacing on your vehicle at the time intervals recommended by the manufacturer. Some people are led to believe that they must have their car serviced at the dealership to maintain the warranty, however this is not the case.
